Recommendations and Evaluations from Colleagues and Supervisors

Click the link below to read letters of recommendation  from previous colleagues, supervising administrators, and parents of former students.   I have also attached a few of my formal evaluation highlights with  the  hope  of  conveying  my  passion  for  teaching  and  my  willingness  to  collaborate,  innovate,  solve  problems,  meet  standards,  and  develop  a  genuine love  of  learning  in  my  students.

A Glimpse into Learning in My Classroom

I  have    provided  links  to  there separate videos  that  show  my  teaching  in  action  and  give  insight  into  my  philiosophy  of  education  and  learning .

The  first  link  will  play  a  video  I  created  for  a  course  in  my  masters  degree  program related  to improving   curriculm  development  and  assesment  methods by  integrating  the  arts.    I  will  warn  you  ahead  of  watching,  it  is  pretty  ridiculous  and  silly  but  it  does  support  the  inclusion  of  practices  you  will  see  in  my  teaching.    It  also  shows  some  of  the  actual  activities done  with  my  students   to  promote  higher  level  thinking  and  collaboration.

The  second  video  was  shot  by  the  Adams  50  School  District  Media  team  to  highlight  my  teaching  practices after  I  was  nominated  by  administrators and  parents  and  won  the  Rotary  International Foundation-Westminster Club’s  Teacher  of  Excellence  Award .

The  final  video  link  shows  an  arts  integration  storytelling  project  i  did  with  my  students  to  eestrablish  behabior  expectations  during  the  first  few  weeks  of  school.
